A: The in office product is a desensitizing paste. It has a unique, specially designed formulation that contains the Pro-Argin™ technology to provide immediate sensitivity relief and special high cleaning silica abrasive to provide gentle polishing and removal of extrinsic stains. The toothpaste also has a unique formula containing the Pro-Argin™ technology for sensitivity relief and fluoride for cavity protection.

A: Yes, it is recommended that you use Colgate® Sensitive Pro-Relief™ toothpaste twice a day or as directed by a dentist for lasting relief.

A: Average toothpaste used per brushing occasion is about 1.5 gram. A 6.0 oz. (170g) tube of toothpaste will give about 110 -115 uses.

Q: Does it have to be used with any special toothbrush?
A: No, but you might want to use a brush with soft bristles that is specially designed for sensitive teeth, like the Colgate® Sensitive Pro-Relief™ Toothbrush.
Q: Is this product safe for infants and children?
A: Children typically do not experience hypersensitivity. Infants typically use toothpastes with a specially formulated lower level of fluoride than is present in Colgate® Sensitive Pro-Relief™. There is no reason to believe that Colgate® Sensitive Pro-Relief™ cannot be used safely by older children.
